Presidents Board Meeting

Quick Notes to Members

We are in the final stages of approving an indoor play area to allow children to enjoy themselves when visiting the club, expected completion late spring.

The Club is hosting the Alan Shaw Pairs on the 6th and 7th August and wishes all competitors the best of luck, let’s cross our fingers for some great weather during the tournament.

We are also delighted to welcome our Sponsored clubs back into the club after a long layoff during the covid period; Dudley Redhead Junior Rugby League Football Club, Charlestown Junior Football Club, University of Newcastle Seapigs Hockey Club, Regals Hockey Club, and Phoenix

Charlestown Baseball Club has shown great support over the previous period and we are looking forward to building long-term relationships well into the future. As above, let’s hope for some dry weather so their respective teams can get onto the field and play the sports they love so much.

The delay in the construction of the townhouses continues with the final planning stages waiting for approval from the council. The expected completion will now be pushed back into the later stages of 2023.

An exciting new food and beverage addition is coming! With an expected launch date in mid-September, “The Tasting Room” will provide an intimate food and beverage experience, focused on supporting the local Hunter Valley Wine industry, Australian Whiskeys, and local spirits matched with a casual or full dining experience. Watch this space or follow our socials for further details.
